Envar Composting sold to FGS Organics
UK agricultural waste recycler FGS Organics has acquired Envar Composting from ADAS Group in a deal advised by BCMS.
Based in Cambridgeshire, Envar Composting is the UK’s largest waste in-vessel and windrow composting facility, currently processing 105,000 tons a year. The facility produces certified soil conditioner for the agricultural, viticultural and horticultural markets, through the processing of green waste, food waste, and specific organic waste.
FGS Organics is an established provider of recycling solutions for the agricultural, industrial, energy and utility sector.
The acquisition is the latest addition to the portfolio of companies owned by Trevor Heathcote and forms a natural progression for FGS Organics, which already offers compost solutions within its portfolio of services.
