
Dawbarn sold to Shur-Co®
Corporate Finance advisor BCMS has advised the shareholders of Dawbarn & Sons Ltd (Dawbarn) – a UK manufacturer of automated trailer safety sheeting systems – on the sale of the business to Shur-Co UK Ltd.
First established over 100 years ago, and based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, Dawbarn is a leading UK player in bulk sheeting systems for the road transport sector, with particular focus on servicing customers in construction, waste, biomass and agriculture. Alongside a wide range of sheeting systems and partition curtains, Dawbarn additionally fabricates canvas and plastic goods for sectors including leisure and sport, and offers a comprehensive range of parts and after-sales service.

Shur-Co UK is a division of Shur-Co LLC, headquartered in Yankton, South Dakota, and a leading international provider of covering systems, parts and service to the global transportation market. Founded in 1954, Shur-Co now has 300+ employees across 13 sites and sales locations in the United States, Canada and the UK.
Deal perspectives
