EZIS sold to Cloud Direct
In a transaction managed by BCMS, UK-based cloud solutions provider Cloud Direct has acquired London IT services group EZIS for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2002 by Ben Campbell and Xerxes Zoppos, EZIS has evolved into a multi-vendor systems integrator, managed services and hosted cloud provider, serving a diverse customer base from trade unions and housing associations to food suppliers and retail chains.
Headquartered in Bath, Cloud Direct is an established cloud solutions provider with ambitious growth plans to double in size every five years. The EZIS transaction, which completed in late 2018, represented Cloud Direct’s fifth acquisition in three years.
Deal commentary
Cloud Direct Founder and CEO Brett Raynes said: “EZIS is a great addition to the growing Cloud Direct family. This acquisition once again shows how we’re continuing to invest in cloud services that help small-to-mid-size organisations become more competitive, productive and agile.”
EZIS founder and Business Development Director Ben Campbell added: “After 13 years growing EZIS, we are excited about the opportunities for our business that the sale to Cloud Direct brings. Our customers will benefit from our combined expertise and improved buying power, while our staff have the career security of being part of a larger group.”
Cloud Direct has previously acquired iHotdesk (2015), Datel Business Systems (2015), Redblade (2016) and AOG Group (2017).
