BCMS Supper Club | Fellows and Jonathan Dunn at The Vineyard

Late June saw the launch of new series of special invitation-only events for business owners and advisors. We’re calling this ‘The BCMS Supper Club’, and the first session was held very much on home turf at The Vineyard, a luxury hotel and spa in Stockcross, near Newbury – just a few miles from our Kingsclere headquarters

Liz Jackson MBE writes: In late April 2022, I hosted a fabulous event in London for women business leaders. The concept of Diamonds and Colours was born out of conversation with two great friends and business connections, Amanda Browning of Tilney Smith & Williamson and serial entrepreneur Alison Cooper, a former client here at BCMS.

It’s not unusual for BCMS to provide exclusive, expert insight into the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) market for other third-party organisations. In the past few years, we’ve been approached to assist a number of trade bodies with their member events programmes.

In case you didn’t know, BCMS is supporting a number of our team through professional accounting qualifications as part of their ongoing career development. I’m proud because four wonderful BCMS colleagues are now officially award-winners – recognised for their brilliance at the 2nd Annual First Intuition Apprenticeship Awards.

BCMS has a long history of supporting charitable causes, so when we heard about the amazing initiatives run by refugee crisis organisation Care4Calais, we decided as a business to offer some hands-on assistance.

If you are going to work with an M&A advisor – choose one you can trust, and whose advice you respect.

Liz Jackson - 25km charity challenge

As part of the BCMS management team, I get regular updates on what’s happening at St Mark’s, and the news from India has become more and more distressing. I couldn’t stand by and do nothing, so I set myself the challenge of walking 25k over five days.
