Edinburgh dinner event
We are hosting a free-to-attend business dinner event to help inspire you to take your company to the next level.
Over complimentary canapés, a four-course dinner and drinks on The Royal Yacht Britannia, this special one-off evening event features three exceptional entrepreneurs, all former clients of BCMS, who will share insights into what it is like to start, grow and exit a business, and take your questions in an open Q&A session.
WHO’S GOING TO BE THERE?
Around 50 local business owners, along with senior staff from event partners Brodies LLP (legal), Rathbones (wealth management), and BCMS (corporate finance).
Founder of Fasteq, based in Linlithgow, John sold in 2012 to Haas Group International. John has since gone on to buy a hotel, a craft brewery, a pub, and invest in his wife’s family business, as well as holding a Directorship at Livingstone FC.
A hugely successful entrepreneur and active investor, Alison founded award-winning, global airline foodservice business En Route International, a high-end property rentals firm, and a visionary interior design company. Advised by BCMS, Alison sold En Route to dnata, part of The Emirates Group.
Marc famously persuaded Nick Jenkins and Sarah Willingham to invest in Sublime Science on BBC2’s Dragons’ Den. He wowed the judges with his inspiring vision – to encourage 1 million children into science. Marc successfully sold his business in October 2018.
