Milton Keynes agencies join forces to broaden offer
Two creative consultancies have joined forces in Milton Keynes to create a new full-service agency, after advertising specialist Walters Snowdon announced the acquisition of marketing agency Tregartha Dinnie.
Walters Snowdon is an independent agency with a strong niche in recruitment advertising, with clients including major housing associations, schools and colleges, and local businesses.
Tregartha Dinnie is marketing communications agency with core skills in both digital and graphic design, PR and events. The business has been established for some 30 years and has particular expertise in the B2B, retail, education, local government and technology sectors.
The transaction completed in mid-December for an undisclosed sum. Mergers and acquisitions specialist BCMS advised the shareholders of Tregartha Dinnie, with Harrison Clark Rickerbys providing legal advice to the vendors.
Walters Snowdon Managing Director Jane Hayward said: “We have long admired the high standard of creativity at Tregartha Dinnie, and the combination of our two agencies means we can offer a more comprehensive service to new and existing clients, while keeping both businesses as separate operating units."
Tregartha Dinnie Managing Director Lester Dinnie added: “Not only will this deal generate new career development opportunities for staff at both agencies, but it also gives both agencies the chance to share back office overheads so we can offer clients even better value.”
BCMS Deal Leader Andy Hunt commented: “This was a relatively straightforward transaction, thanks to the strong relationship that formed quickly between buyer and seller. The two companies are clearly a great fit, and we wish them all the best for their new future.”
