The Forest Foot and Health Clinic acquired by New Milton Foot Clinic
The Forest Podiatry and Physiotherapy Clinic (trading as Foot and Health Clinic), is a recent acquisition for New Milton Foot Clinic, helping to develop their Podiatry and associated business across the New Forest region. M&A advisor Kingsbrook, part of the BCMS group, assisted in this acquisition with legal advice from Harrison Clark Rickerby’s LLP.
Established 24 years ago in the heart of the New Forest National Park, The Forest Foot and Health Clinic quickly expanded from one sole trader, Mrs Hilary Nossiter, to a successful business which now employs three full time podiatrists and a physiotherapist, treating all problems associated with the foot and lower limb.
Based in New Milton, Hampshire, New Milton Foot Clinic was established around the same time, and has also grown into a successful business serving the feet of the New Forest community, so it is a perfect marrying of two similar businesses, looking to take the best practice from each.
Jane Kraushaar, Managing Director of New Milton Foot Clinic commented: “We are delighted to have acquired The Forest Foot and Health Clinic. This acquisition will enable us to increase local market share and expand our foot health business in the South of England. It will provide us with a brand-new location, treatments and new consultant therapists to join our team. We are all very excited for what the future holds.”
Hilary Nossiter, Founder of The Forest Foot and Health Clinic said: “I am pleased that the clinic is going to a wonderful home with Jane. I have enjoyed building the business over the years, but it is time to let go and allow the new owners take the business to the next level. It is really exciting to see such a positive future for my business and my team.”
BCMS Lead Advisor, Andy Hunt said: “We are delighted to have been part of this acquisition. The Forest Foot and Health Clinic has created a well-known brand name and customer base for themselves within the heart of the New Forest. We feel they will be a great asset to New Milton Foot Clinic as the two companies complement each other and have the same ethos and values. It has been great working with both seller and buyer. From the word go, it was obvious that the two businesses were so well suited and would mutually benefit from the acquisition. We wish both all the best for the future.”
The price and terms of the deal are undisclosed.
