Jeremy Bate

Senior Director

Jeremy has been working in international M&A since 2004, and has extensive experience across a broad range of industry sectors. He provides lead M&A advice on some of BCMS’ larger, and more complex transactions.

Jeremy joined BCMS in 2019 from PwC, where he initially qualified as a Chartered Accountant before embarking on his career in Corporate Finance, helping both private and institutional shareholders realise their strategic objectives, and maximise value, through a wide variety of M&A assignments. These include full and partial sale transactions, to both trade buyers and financial investors, management buyouts, complex carve-out situations, acquisitions and minority investments, new market-entry strategies, strategic options reviews, and various forms of debt and equity finance raising.

Jeremy also has extensive international experience, having sold overseas businesses and advised on many cross-border transactions over the years – he also spent a number of years living and working in Southeast Asia, where he established and led PwC’s Corporate Finance activities in the Mekong region.

Client recommendations

"BCMS have provided me with a life-changing opportunity and a new chapter. You have understood the dimensions of the SaaS market, which is a challenge, but also taken the time to understand the potential of DPS, which I have no doubt got us a better deal."
